Do you remember Paul Pott? Well, lightning has struck twice!
Embedding was disabled by YouTube so I couldn’t put the video here on the blog, but PLEASE click this link to listen Susan Boyle sing “I Dreamed A Dream” from Les Miserables.
Oh, grab a hanky first...

holy mother of god!!!!!
I am sitting in work before signing on to officially begin my day and I am blubbering.
At first I thought she was lip synching but I think it was just the audio was slightly off from the vidio. What a smooth effortless perfomance. I have added this to my favorites so I can go back again and again.
When you have a moment check out Adam Lambert on youtube singing Come to Me, Bend to Me from Brigadoon. He's the slightly off center rocker dude on American Idol and he was amazing.
thanks for sharing.
Gail
I'd forgotten you once recommended a despot ;o)
Hi Gail -
Sorry to start your day off with tears, but sooo glad you were as wowed as I was!
I did check out Adam Lambert and could not believe what I was hearing! I haven't followed this year's contest, but I did see the Randy Travis episode on the plane the night we flew out to Seattle. Wrapping my mind around the voice singing from Brigadoon and the wild version of "Ring of Fire" took some doing!
No, no - thank you for sharing!

Hi Roo -
You hot ticket! When I was writing up the post, I almost put "Hush Roo" in parentheses after I typed the name Paul Potts!

Lee you beat me to this star. On MSNBC, it said that Simon Cowell signed her to a contract. It didn't say how much Susan Boyle signed for but I'm sure it was better than unemployment benefits.
I can honestly say, I had goosebumps listening to her and by the end I was in tears... her voice, the words... Goes to show, "appearances can be deceiving". Hugs, xx
I love this show. I love it when stuff like that happens and simon cowell is alomost rolling his eyes and people are laughing and then.. she blew them out of the water. I HATE injustice and unkind people so I get a double wammy. Not only is that song my favorite from Les Mis but Simon cowell nearly swallowed his tongue LOL
