Debate vs. Infomercial
Governor Sarah Palin chose not to answer many of the questions posed to her in tonight’s debate. Nor did she respond very often to Senator Joe Biden. Governor Palin stated outright that: “I may not answer the questions the way that either the moderator [Ifill] or you [Biden] wanna hear, but I’m gonna talk straight to the American people and let ‘em know my track record.” Therefore, shouldn’t the McCain-Palin campaign pay for the time Governor Palin spent not participating in the debate while she read and recited the Republican campaign’s talking points?

I'll say she's a quick study. Those rehearsals by the creek (crick as we say in upstate NY) paid off for her.
However... I agree, the GOP should pay for that informercial! LOL
Biden did good!

Hi George -
A quick study indeed!
It was fascinating to watch her going through her notes and then answering whatever question she wanted to off her own talking points list!
I thought Joe Biden did very well; clear, concise, logical, experienced and so knowledgeable. While Governor Palin talked about "Joe Six-Pack", Senator Biden spelled out how an Obama- Biden administration would make life better for all Americans. Oh yeah - and unlike his opponent, he answered the questions!
32 Days and counting...

I have decided to answer the door for trick-or-treaters on Halloween in a Sarah Palin costume carrying the head of a polar bear, a pro-life sign and a stack of index cards with Republican platform statements.
Its the scariest costume I can think of this year.
Hi Kate -
That sure beats "The Exorcist"!
It's definitely a Trick and no sort of Treat!
Don't forget to include an image of Dick Cheney with EXPANDED Vice Presidential POWERS (think Darth Vader meets Cheney meets Palin)!
And you should add a copy of The Constitution of The United States of America being fed through a shredder by Bush-Cheney-Rove-McCain-Palin.
You could also add "Joe Six-Pack" belching over the remains of a field dressed moose.
BTW, I get the Soccer/Hockey/Tae Kwon Do and-everything-else-Moms references Governor Palin repeatedly makes. She's trying to make people believe she's one of them. But the "Joe Six-Pack" moniker strikes me as offensive and insulting!

Hi Gail -
Both your daughters are formidably bright and neither has ever been accused of being a shrinking violet!
That is a whole lot to be proud of!
