Spring Dinner

Asparagus with a little butter and lemon, roasted potatoes and grilled tuna with a pomegranate-sesame reduction sauce was the perfect spring dinner. I must confess that I really like it when I prepare a simple meal that tastes yummy and costs just a fraction of what it would in a restaurant. It feels like a double win!

YUMMMMMY!!! Can't wait to have tuna again - I don't like it fully cooked so I'll have to wait till I'm allowed undercooked meat again. Asparagus with lemon and butter is on our menu at least once a week.. divine divine! Now that the sun is out over there you should try flashing them over the grill instead of cooking them on the stove - give them that lovely smoky crispiness on the outside and keeps the firm snap that is essential.. listen to me talking about cooking like I know what I'm doing!

Hi DMM -
Your cool days will help me get through our summer. Hopefully, talk of spring and summer things around here will help you get through your winter!

Hi Ronnie -
Chuck likes his tuna very pink in the middle, whereas I like it almost fully cooked, but still moist. Thanks for the suggestion about the asparagus. I've never tried it grilled, but it sounds super!
Sure sounds like you know your way around the kitchen - or a brai!

Hi Sue -
On one hand I'm glad my description set your mouth watering. On the other hand - sorry!
As for spring versus fall - what I wrote to DMM holds true for you as well!
