A Little More Spring...

...before summer officially arrives.

Rose

Iris

Allium

I mentioned this in the comments, but our cat Abby’s tests all came back normal. Of perhaps equal importance, she now seems her usual self. Her veterinarian wants us to keep an eye on her in case anything else out of the ordinary emerges. But, knock wood, so far so good! Thanks for all the good wishes!

Hi Lee, just to let you know that Veronica and Steven have had the most beautiful baby girl. Her name as you know is Sarah. She had her operation on the same day she was born and it went well. She will have to be in intensive care for about 2 to 3 weeks. Veronica will be home soon and will do a beautiful post I am sure with the most gorgeous pictures. Fiona

Hi Fiona -
Thank you so much for being the bearer of this happy news! We were delighted to read that Sarah has arrived. We know it's early, but your report sounds very positive!
We'll continue to hold all three of them in our thoughts...

Hi Lee, Saw Veronica today and she is looking beautiful. She has managed to hold Sarah for the first time as they were changing her bedding so that was wonderful for her. She must just go from strength to strength now so they can have their little baby in their arms. Veronica is going home tomorrow so I am sure you will all get to read a wonderful post. Fiona xx

Hey Roo -
Thanks!
As for summer, I know you've already covered the whole Southern Hemisphere and Winter topic with Morgan!

Hi DMM -
Thank you!
It's important to keep all of us Northern Hemispherics on our toes!

Hi Fiona -
You are a doll for keeping us updated and in the loop! It's not easy having far flung "friends inside the computer" as the new Mum describes us!

I'm thrilled to read Veronica was able to hold Sarah! That must have been very beneficial for them both. And the fact she will be able to go home so soon is great news, but ever so tough to have to leave Sarah still in hospital.

Give all three our love and we look forward to any and all pictures and more happy reports!

P.S. I know the baby shower was last weekend, but are they registered anywhere???

So thrilled to hear that Abby's feeling better!! Great news. Love the pics too, especially the Iris - they're one of my favourite flowers. I used to have hundreds of them in my garden on the farm and I miss them so. I transferred some to my parent's garden a while back, but they haven't taken off as well yet. I can't wait for spring to arrive here!

Hi Sue -
Irises are so beautiful. We've had our eyes caught by some really deep, dark purple ones. One of these days we need to fit some of those in around here.
Hope yours surprise you with their abundance in the spring!
Thanks for the good wishes!
Happy winter...
