Indeed it's true, we've been watching it in the tea-room. I can hear people outside honking their car horns. This didn't happen when we had OUR election!

A bunch of us got some snacks and watched his speech. He really is a very good speaker.
If I was the praying kind I'd send a few out to keep him safe. But, I'll just hope instead.
Wipe your eye, blow your nose and go open a bottle of champagne!

I must say that it is very moving to think of you all the way in Australia pulling up a chair and having some snacks as you watched President-Elect Barack Obama's speech! He's a wonderful speaker, an inspiring one. Best of all, he's levelheaded, intelligent and calm. What a wonderful change!
