The week before Easter we drove up to Bar Harbor, Maine. It was exactly what we needed. Over the next few days I’ll be posting photographs and a video.
Shore Path, looking over Frenchman Bay to Sheep Porcupine Island.
Chuck watching the waves crash at Schoodic Point, Acadia National Park
Hi DMM - The waves at Schoodic were wonderful to watch that day. (Although a family with three children had us holding our breath a few times as they ventured out onto the wet rocks.)
Chuck was enjoying the moment the wave curls over and that glassy green-blue water is visible, just before it crashes and foams. ;o)
Hi Gail - Good for you! The thought crossed my mind, but I just couldn't do that early an hour! The recaps were wonderful - especially on BBC America. ;o)
Pink may be a girly-girl color, but granite is strong, solid and durable. Plus, pink granite is part of what makes up Acadia, a favorite place for my husband and me.
SEARCHING?
Did an internet search bring you to Pink Granite but you don’t see what you’re looking for? Just type a word or phrase into the “Search Blog” box on the upper left corner of the screen to search all of Pink Granite. Thanks for stopping by!

What's he thinking about, all pensive by the shore?
Gorgeous!!!
And I was one of those crazy people who set the alarm for 3:45AM so I wouldn't miss a moment of the Royal Wedding.
