For several years, Chuck has created a calendar reflecting the schedule for the Boston Red Sox, using an Excel spreadsheet. This year, he discovered that the Red Sox have a downloadable iCal subscription!
Why aren’t you all jumping up and down with unbridled excitement?
It’s the Boston Red Sox.
It’s a downloadable calendar for Apple’s iCal.
And it’s a subscription - meaning if there’s a change, it will automatically update your calendar.
There you go, now I can feel you jumping up and down with unbridled excitement!
For just a second there, you had me a wee bit worried.
So good, so good, so good!

I need that, only one to remind me when Pancake Tuesday is coming up!
sorry, I must have dozed off.
:o)
Gail
Gail?! C'mon. Red Sox = Life.
Oh yeah... see me jumping.. see me reaching for my iThing.
:o) x
No issue with the Red Sox, if we ever get out that way, book seats as I've never seen a live game xx
Hi DMM -
By Pancake Tuesday, is that Shrove Tuesday/Mardi Gras?
There are great calendar programs out there - Google and Yahoo have some and Microsoft has something called "Outlook". Your phone might even have a calendar feature which you could set for an alarm.
Or you could switch over to Apple and all would be easy-peasy!
;o)
Hi Gail -
LOL!
Ah, nobody can do it like family members can!
;o)
Hi Kate -
Precisely!
Perhaps your Mom has a recessive Red Sox gene?
;o)
Hi Roo -
iThing - - - so that's what you kids are calling it these days!
Red Sox tickets are in demand (They've had a sell out crowd for every home game since May, 2003!), so just give us enough lead time and we'll be there with bells on!
;o)
