This was the sunrise today over Frenchman Bay and Bald Porcupine Island, here in Bar Harbor, Maine. On mornings like this I don’t want to ever go home, because not only is this exquisitely beautiful, it also feels like home.
There is no time quite like sunrise and I am ashamed to say that I seldom see it except when I have an early flight coming in and I have to deliver a car...I love it and scold myself all the time for not getting up earlier.
Hi DMM & Fi - Well, I guess we're all in the same boat when it comes to sunrises! If they were all this beautiful, maybe I'd be more inclined - or not! When we're on vacation in a beautiful place like this I do push us to get up and out as early as possible, so as to take advantage of all the area has to offer - including a beautiful sunrise. Home? Not so much! ;o)
Pink may be a girly-girl color, but granite is strong, solid and durable. Plus, pink granite is part of what makes up Acadia, a favorite place for my husband and me.
SEARCHING?
